Azerbaijan increases pensions and salaries from the first on of coming year. It is expected that minimum wage changes will be made to this indicator from the beginning of 2024.
From the first months of next year, according to forecasts, changes will be made to the minimum wage and the amount of pensions, expert economist Rashad Hasanov says.
According to the expert, there is also high probability of announcement of a social package on increase of benefits and pensions.
“It is expected that changes will be made to this indicator from the beginning of 2024. The minimum wage can be increased by about 10% – up to 400 manats.”
MP Vugar Bayramov also said that pensions and wages will be increased in January 2024.
