Special operational-investigative measures were held on the basis of Appeals on the facts of detection of fraud in the documents submitted by citizens in connection with the state registration of land plots.
The preliminary investigation of the criminal case under Articles 320.1 (falsification and illegal preparation in order to use an official document) and 320.2 (knowingly using fake documents) of the Criminal Code has been initiated in the investigation and Investigation Department of the main Police Department of Baku City on the basis of the presented cases of fraud.
Real estate agent sold land plots on false document
As a result of the operational-investigative measures carried out by the employees of the main department, the circle of persons preparing and using fake documents was determined. As a result of the event, Gamat Soltanov, a resident of Saatli region, acting as an intermediary (broker) for the sale and purchase of real estate in the capital, was detained as a suspect. During the inspection of his office, the car he was driving and his address in Surakhani District of the capital, 31 fake stamps, 2 stamps, 6 memory cards,notebooks, color printer devices, fake documents and other stationery belonging to various state and municipal authorities used in the preparation of fake documents were found and seized. Gamat Soltanov admitted in his testimony that he was engaged in the preparation of fake documents for state registration of land plots.
