The Central Bank, together with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), is developing a fintech strategy for 2024-2028.
Yekemlak.az reports that the director of the CBA Payment Systems & Settlements Department, Kamala Gurbanova, stated about this at the Azerbaijani-Turkish financial forum in Baku.
She added that fintech is one of the components of the project of sustainable development of the financial sector implemented by the Central Bank, as well as McKinsey organization.
“All these measures will contribute to increasing the supply and demand for fintech in the country, as well as training new personnel with digital capabilities necessary for their development,” she stressed.
